There’s a forecast of growth for the aviation industry, winds of prosperity and hopes of new markets to reach with the magic of a transportation fast and safe. However, with this growth, needs will arise too.

A report made by the airplane manufacturer Boeing states that along with this growth in the industry, there will be a greater necessity of personnel to service, maintain and fly the new airplanes soaring in the skies of the future.

How many more pilots?

To match the growth forecasted on the next 20 years, the aviation industry will require the formation of more than 600,000 commercial airline pilots, almost 700,000 maintenance technicians and more than 810,000 cabin crew collaborators, making a grand total of more than 2 million new jobs in the industry.

If that sounds like a big number it’s because it is, and it will require a tremendous effort and innovation starting from the people in charge of educating them and preparing them for the actual job. And that’s the part where this report that may set the alarm for many airliners in the world becomes a huge opportunity to take advantage of for the flight school business.

Helping the aviation industry to grow

Exactly as you see weather forecast saving lives at the moment of a big meteorological event, this aviation industry forecast gives visibility to all parts involved and marks a path to follow and accomplish the goals noted.

Flight schools will be greatly involved in meeting the amount of pilots required to fly all those new routes that will be connecting the world and making it smaller and smaller. Finding new ways to reach the potential students, such as the social media and the Internet, becomes critical to benefit the flight school itself and the industry as a whole too.

The future starts to be built right now and the tools to do it are at the reach, will you become a part of it starting today?
