Is your flight school struggling to get more followers on Twitter and Facebook? I’m talking about real followers not those you pay $5 to somebody in India to get 1,000 follower in just 1 or 2 days. Also, by posting photos of recent graduates pilots will not help you that much. The goal is always the same, attract those interested in becoming a pilots. But the result is the opposite, many followers do not get what they want and decide not to follow your account anymore or just ignore your messages completely.
What is a follower looking on your social accounts?
There are many reasons why people will follow you. But what you can be sure is that they’re not interested in knowing how many pilots your school graduates in one day. The reason people will follow your account is because they want to have more information about the flight school, to be informed of how they can make their dream a reality or to get a promotion when it becomes available.
Why is it so difficult to grow and maintain our community?
Because we don’t have content that is relevant to the needs of our prospects. If you're wondering what kind of content can I create? There are many types such as checklist, ebooks, blog post, or infographics among others. What you want to accomplish with this type of content is to answer any questions or doubts of how to move the flying dream forward.

Now how can I measure success?
Many of the errors mention above occur because you don’t have a gauge to measure your results. Adobe throw a statistic that “52% of marketers cite difficulties in accurately measuring ROI as their biggest source of frustration in social aviation marketing” It is important that we analyze our strategy and have tools to measure ROI. It’s nice to have a lot of followers but not knowing how they interact with your messages, or who of those are leads will be difficult to measure your efforts. Analyze how many of your current followers are customers, which of them are promoters of your content and how many followers you are actually attracting with the content currently published. Aviation marketing agency can help you with your social marketing if you can view these indicators you'll be able to improve and get better results overtime.
